Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of transferring my
photos, music & videos to CD or DVD ?
When your items are transferred to CD or DVD they will be preserved  in
their
present condition, which in a way, will stop them from aging any
further. The original, unfortunately will continue to age , but the
transferred version will stay just as you receive it, for as long as the CD
or DVD lasts. You will be able to use the new digital transfers for any
number of purposes, from creating your own slide shows or movies, to
photo editing, to printing pictures to be framed. The transfers will allow
you to safeguard your photos, videos & music in a much smaller & more
convenient format. Imagine the ease of keeping up with 1 DVD, instead of
25 boxes of 35MM slide carousels or 1 DVD instead of 12 photo albums.
Nothing can replace having the originals, but a backup sure helps.
Can you restore my items to
their original condition ?
Yes, depending on the current condition it is in. We can remove most
flaws, such as pops & skips in audio recordings & even color enhance &
patch-up scratches in photos. We can restore your 8mm film to a condition
that's virtually flawless & our state of the art Nikon Coolscan 5000
scanners produce the highest quality 35MM slide scanning available.

Do I get the original back ?
Absolutely ! We will return everything
that you send us, when we ship your
completed project(s) back to you .
How is 8MM film transferred to DVD ?
We first hand clean your 8mm or Super 8mm film with a cleaning solution
to remove any dust or debris. We then use a special telecine transfer machine
to take a frame to frame snapshot of the film. Each frame is individually
scanned & edited to restore color & to remove any scratches. Our machines
use a specially designed wide gate, so the scan is all the way to the edge of
the film. The scans are then played back at speed to create a flutter free,
color enhanced video in your choice of formats.
